Periodic Inspection of Domestic Properties
If your present certificate has or is due to expire, or perhaps you are thinking of moving house or just have general concerns regarding the electrical safety of your property we can carry out a periodic test & inspection to ascertain the condition of your electrical installation.
On completion of the test we will issue a certificate listing any items that contravene the current IEE electrical regulations BS7671.
- Inspection and testing complete with managed maintenance packages if required.
- Domestic installations to meet Part P of the building regulations.
- Industrial and commercial projects with major clients
The new regulations state that all electrical installations, repair and maintenance work must be approved by the local building authority control department or undertaken by a "competent person". A "competent person" has the authority to self-certify that the work carried out to british standards and they then must provide the client and the local authorities the relevant documentation for the electrical works carried out.
Particularly useful for Landlords and Letting Agents. We can arrange to test annually or as required all your domestic appliances.
This can be recorded onto our database, giving you a complete history report whenever required.
Periodic Inspection of Emergency Lighting Systems
Emergency lighting systems require a periodic test & inspection once every 12 months; it is also recommended that routine checks take place on a daily/ monthly basis.
Periodic Inspection of Fire Alarm Systems
Fire alarms systems require an annual test & inspection. It is also recommended that routine checks take place on an agreed routine basis.
On completion of any inspection a certificate or report will be issued indicating any aspects of the installation tested that does not conform to relevant current regulations, or are showing signs of wear or are deemed to be dangerous. On request we can offer a competitive quotation for all remedial works required. Should our quotation be accepted and on completion of the works we will re-test the property free of charge and issue a new certificate.
Landlords and Letting Agents
We are able to offer you a complete package of test, repairs and maintenance at a competitive price. This will then enable you to comply with your legal obligations with regards to the electrical installation within your properties. Certificates can be produced and forwarded in either paper or electronic format. Alternatively we can record all works carried out on our database and manage the electrical maintenance of your properties on your behalf.
